Imagine The Potential
When you apply with Food App Fast, you’ll be helping us pilot our commission-based pay structure. We’ll pay a monthly ongoing commission that stays as long as your new restaurant account is active.
The Perks
Commission Based Pay Structure - no minimum, but NO MAXIMUM. Earn what you’re capable of. For example, if you sign an account, you’ll receive a small new account bonus at the time of signing, PLUS a percentage of their online sales moving forward. If your new client does $20,000 in online sales in month one, payable at 2%, you’d receive $400 for that month from that account. Now imagine that for multiple accounts, and you can quickly see the earning potential grow.
Paid Monthly - You’ll work as an independent contractor, and be paid monthly on a set date as such for each existing account you’ve onboarded. We pay pre-tax amounts, so please consult with a tax advisor on how best to move forward with your tax obligations.
Set Your Own Hours - Work this job as part time or as full time as you want to. We’ll do a check in once per week and assess how we can best help you succeed, set appointments if you need support for an in-person meeting, and go over any questions and concerns you may have.
Work Remotely - Along with the freedom to set your time, is the ability to set your location. We do not currently have a central office, so you have the freedom to work from home, from the local coffee shop, the library, co-working spaces, or even the beach. That’s the ultimate freedom play. Having flexibility is key to enjoying the work that you do, and we fully support that. All we ask for is professionalism, and that professionalism will earn returns in the way of commissions.

As a new partner in sales with Food App Fast, you’ll be responsible for making contact with owners of food-based businesses in your area, meeting with them to discuss the benefits of our FREE online ordering system, and when they’re ready to join us, securing the necessary information to get their online ordering up and running. Our tech team will take it from there, putting their menu online and launching their online ordering platform and associated apps as quickly as possible.
Once they’re up and operating, you’ll be responsible for checking in regularly with your accounts to make sure that everything is running smoothly, and find out if there’s anything we can do to further help them along in their online ordering and marketing journey, with the full support of our super-responsive tech team.
This position is all about maintaining relationships with our clients, to know how to best help them. We fully believe that our online ordering system is a great fit for food-based businesses, but there may be situations where it isn’t the best choice for that business, and as the sales professional, you need to have the ability to admit when our system is not the best option, advise them of why, and be able to walk away. At the end of the day we want sales professionals who have our clients and future clients best interests at heart.
Food App Fast is not focused on the bottom line. The bottom line grows out of our service to those in our communities. If you believe this, you’d be a great fit with our team.
A typical day at “work” for our ideal candidate would be a mix of identifying potential new clients, coordinating reach outs and meetings, networking at events where potential clients would be attending, and ultimately signing new accounts as you find a good fit. The hours would be your own, but as we’ve worked in the food industry for many years, please know that the owners and managers of food-based businesses tend to have varying times of availability. There is room in this position for you to work any hours you choose, but a successful sales professional in this position would have the ability to adapt to best fit the needs of their potential new client.
Our ideal candidate’s level of success will depend on the number of available hours they can commit to this sales position. Food App Fast does not guarantee a set base pay, but will offer a small new account signing bonus, and set commission based on a percentage of the previous months sales volume. Remember, we don’t get paid unless they do. The more sales they make online, the more your commission will be. It is in your best interest to research the best ways to support your clients to reach their goals, and in doing so, reach yours. Exact pay percentages will be discussed in person during the hiring interview.
